Is this a cover for the seating surface?
This floor hammock is designed for full-size crew-cab trucks with the rear seats folded up. It covers the floor area, backs of the front seats and folded rear-seat bottoms. It does not protect door panels or the seating surface.
How do I choose the split side?
Compare the measurement diagram with your actual fold-up seat layout. This product page is for the driver-side split. Contact us with your truck’s year, make and model if you need help choosing.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum loose hair and wipe small messes with a moist towel. Follow the linked installation and care guide for rinsing and drying. Use the instructions for your exact model rather than assuming every 4Knines product has the same care requirements.
Is the cover completely waterproof?
K9-SHIELD® provides a waterproof protective bottom layer. Follow the manufacturer’s installation and care directions for your exact product.
Is it chew-proof?
These covers are not chew-proof and are not recommended for aggressively destructive dogs. Supervise your dog and never leave a pet unattended in a vehicle.
Does a cover replace a pet restraint?
No. A seat cover or hammock protects the interior; it is not a crash-tested dog restraint. Use an appropriate restraint or secured carrier according to its instructions and your vehicle’s guidance.
